I am 5'4" 125lbs (27.5" waist, 30" high hip, 35" low hip, 27.5" inseam) and bought a size 4 based on the size guide recommendation for my waist measurement. I think I should have bought a size 2 based on the recommended hip measurement, as this wound up being a bit looser and sitting lower than I wanted rather than fitted through the hips as it is pictured on the model.The size 4 that I bought has a 28 inch waist measurement and is 39.5 inch long with an a-line silhouette. As it is, it sits below my natural waist, which to be fair is where it is pictured on the model. I chose a size 4 in part because that is what was listed the model was wearing and knowing that I typically have a larger waist measurement, I was worried it would be too small otherwise. I was aiming for it to sit a bit higher on me, and I will have to get the length and waist tailored. I have not bought from Club Monaco before, so I cannot speak as to how this fits compared to their typical sizing. There is no elastic in the waist, but the material does have some give. The quality is very nice. The stitching is even and and at least on the one I received, there is no puckering along the seams and zipper, which is often a problem with silk items. It does have a couple of loose threads at the clasp. It is unlined, light weight, and the black color I bought is completely opaque. It has a nice drape, but does everything so my hips are pretty prominent (That doesn't bother me, but if you are concerned about it, take note). I bought this on final sale for $133 and feel that the price was very fair for the quality. I have a muse silk shirt dress from Banana Republic and so far I think this silk is slightly better. I haven't washed it yet as I haven't had the time to have it tailored, so I can't speak to the washing/ironing process. I have lusted after a silk slip skirt for ages and am really happy that I chose this one. Overall, I am quite pleased and am excited to wear this!
