Silk & Cashmere Garment Care
Extend the life of premium silk and cashmere garments by treating them with the utmost care.

Cashmere: Hand Wash or Dry Clean
Instructions for Hand Wash:
- Fill a large vessel with cold water.
- Use a cashmere shampoo or gentle garment detergent.
- Submerge your cashmere in water & detergent and move about gently.
- Let your garment soak for 30 minutes.
- Rinse well.
- Press out excess water—do not wring or twist the fabric.
- Lay the garment flat on a clean towel, then roll the towel to press out excess water.
- Lay the garment flat and in its natural shape on (a new) clean towel to dry.
Additional Care Notes for Cashmere:
- Avoid hanging cashmere garments. Instead, store them folded and flat.
- Protect your cashmere from moths by placing cedar balls or natural lavender in your storage space.
- Gently remove fabric pilling by using a cashmere comb.

Silk: Machine Wash*, Hand Wash, or Dry Clean
*most silk styles are machine washable, with the exception of 30mm silk charmeuse styles. Consult your garment’s care tag.
Instructions for Hand Wash:
- Turn garment insideout and wash with similar colors only (silk colors can run).
- Fill a vessel with cool water.
- Select a gentle garment detergent.
- Submerge garment in water & detergent and gently move around.
- Soak garment for up to 30 mins.
- Rinse well.
- Press out water—do not wring or twist the fabric.
- Lay the garment flat to dry in its natural shape.
- To eliminate wrinkles, use a steamer; or, tumble dry (an already dry garment) for a minute or two on low heat.
