On Thanksgiving, I purchased a sweater from your store, and it pains me to say that my experience since then has been far from satisfactory. I tried to wear the sweater for the first time last Saturday (01/27/24) and soon discovered a hole in the sleeve around the elbow area before I left home. This defect was quite unexpected and disheartening, considering my loyalty as a long-term Club Monaco customer.
In an effort to resolve the issue, I promptly visited the store to exchange the defective sweater on the same afternoon. However, the encounter with the store manager was extremely disappointing. Despite providing my purchase receipt and explaining the situation, she accused me of possibly causing the damage and refused to provide any solutions to this defect. Her unprofessional behavior and lack of empathy were surprising and disheartening, especially given my history as a loyal customer.
As a customer who has consistently chosen Club Monaco for its quality products and excellent service, this experience has left me questioning the level of commitment the company has towards its customers. The store manager's unwillingness to address the issue and her accusatory tone was not only unprofessional but also tarnished the reputation of the brand.
