the fabric is paper thin but not in a bad way, it's flowy and moves with you. so pretty

Pretty dress that I bought on sale for a wedding. The fabric is very delicate and I think the tag snagged it a bit during shipping but nothing noticeable given the shimmery pattern. I have several Club Monaco dresses and they all fit perfectly in a size 4, however, based on previous reviews, I sized up to a 6 and it does fit well. The fabric is thin but doesn’t have much give and looks better with a bit of a hang to it, so erring on the size of larger was the right call. It is longer than I expected though. Hits my ankles almost. For reference I am 5’6, 135lbs, hourglass shape.

Beautiful fabric, the photos online don't do it justice. It is definitely a slim fit, sizing up is necessary. I loved this dress as a wedding guest option so much that I went to two different club monaco locations in Vancouver in an attempt to find additional sizes. I was disappointed to find that both Vancouver locations didn't have a size available in store for this dress above an 8. I ended up finding a more comfortable option elsewhere but wanted to come online here and share just how nice this is in person, if you can get the sizing to work out.

The dress is very pretty, the color is just not for me. There are some stray metallic threads at the seams, but that is typical of this type of material. The price I bought for was incredible so it won’t be going back. Great for summer, but may be a bit too shiny for an outdoor summer wedding - which is what I had purchased it for.

Dress is beautiful, but one size up and I am swimming in it, especially the bust. One size down and it’s too tight across the hips and quite snug on the bust. There doesn’t seem to be a good size.
